Congratulations to the 98 outstanding students who have officially been awarded the UMT Talent Scholarship – Round 2, 2026
After a rigorous process of application review, interviews, and evaluations conducted by the Admissions Scholarship Committee, Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology (UMT) officially announces the list of 98 outstanding candidates selected for the UMT Talent Scholarship – Round 2, 2026.

In this admission round, UMT received numerous high-quality applications from students across the country. Following a thorough evaluation process based on academic achievements, personal capabilities, and development potential, 98 outstanding candidates officially earned the UMT Talent Scholarship – Round 2, 2026, including:
7 students awarded the Global Scholarship, covering 100% of tuition fees for the entire program
17 students awarded the Unique Scholarship, covering 60% of tuition fees for the entire program
74 students awarded the Liberal Scholarship, covering 48% of tuition fees for the entire program
According to Mr. To Ngoc Hoang Nguyen, Head of Admissions at UMT: “Many candidates demonstrated remarkable achievements through international, national, and provincial/city-level awards across various fields. They come from prestigious and specialized high schools nationwide, including Tran Hung Dao High School for the Gifted (Lam Dong), Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted and Nguyen Hue High School (Dak Lak), Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School for the Gifted (Dong Thap), Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted (Tay Ninh), Luong The Vinh High School, and Vinschool (Ho Chi Minh City), among others.”

Dr. Nguyen Canh Tuan, Vice President of UMT, presented scholarships to students from Luong The Vinh High School (Ho Chi Minh City) who excellently earned UMT scholarships for 2026.
Notably, candidates selected in Round 2 demonstrated not only outstanding academic performance but also remarkable achievements in meaningful community projects, innovative entrepreneurial activities, sports, arts, and scientific research. Their diversity in talent, individuality, and aspirations reflects the qualities of a dynamic, creative, and globally minded generation of students that UMT continuously strives to nurture.
