VIETNAM NATIONAL UNION OF STUDENTS
The Vietnam National Union of Students is an organization representing Vietnamese students, operating under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the guidance of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Officially established on January 9, 1950, its history is closely associated with the nation’s patriotic student movements. Over more than 70 years of development, the Union has continuously grown and affirmed its role as the legitimate representative safeguarding the rights and interests of students. It also serves as a platform for fostering civic responsibility, nurturing ideals, and developing outstanding young generations for the country. Within universities, the Student Union plays a vital role in connecting students with the institution and society. It provides a platform where students can express their voices and aspirations while receiving necessary support. The Union contributes to shaping students’ values, ethics, and lifestyles, while equipping them with essential skills for confident global integration. More importantly, it creates an environment for personal development, enabling students to realize their potential, explore their identity, and contribute to a dynamic, united, and healthy student community.
