Amid the dynamic rhythm of university life, sports have become an essential part of the journey of personal growth, helping young people cultivate resilience, teamwork, and perseverance through every experience. At UMT, this spirit is being fostered and celebrated each day through the activities of the UMT Sports Club (USC).
Through a wide range of sports, including football, badminton, pickleball, and various recreational athletic activities, USC creates a vibrant environment where students can train, connect, and share their passion with like-minded peers. Every training session and every tournament contributes to meaningful and memorable experiences throughout the UMT student journey.
With a modern and well-developed system of facilities, including a fully equipped gym, dedicated pickleball courts, football and volleyball fields, as well as a riverside jogging track, UMTers are provided with the opportunity to train and develop in a professional and high-quality sporting environment.
Beyond accompanying many of the University’s sports activities and tournaments, USC members have also actively participated in large-scale sporting events such as the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon, the Vietnam Youth Student Football Championship (THACO Cup), the Ben Cat Ward Karate Championship, the Vinh Tan Ward Sports Festival, the Cat Lai Ward Sports Festival, and the “Run for Kidney Health” charity race.
Embodying the spirit of “One Team, One Dream,” USC places strong emphasis on teamwork, companionship, and unity in every activity. Through each match and every challenge, members learn to collaborate, support one another, and push beyond their own limits together. Over time, USC has become an integral part of student life at UMT, contributing to the spread of positive energy and a strong culture of community sportsmanship.
