University of Management and Technology Ho Chi Minh City (UMT) officially launches the SMArt Gen’s Branding Challenge 2026 — a nationwide competition designed for young talents who are passionate about creativity and eager to take on real-world communication challenges.
Organized by the Faculty of Communications and Applied Arts, the competition offers a hands-on experiential journey where Gen Z participants can apply their knowledge, strategic thinking, and technological capabilities — especially AI — to develop highly practical and impactful communication campaigns.
Eligibility
The competition is open to young talents nationwide and includes two divisions:
Division A (High School): High school students
Division B (University): University students and recent graduates (within one year after graduation)
Competition Categories
Participants will compete in the following categories:
Developing an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Plan
Designing a Brand Kit
Producing a Video/TVC (University Division only)

April 21 – May 14, 2026: Registration period
April 29, 2026: Announcement of Round 1 challenge brief
July 3, 2026: Grand Finale Gala at UMT
