Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Y has over 5 years of teaching and research experience in Vietnam, Taiwan, and the Netherlands. While pursuing her PhD at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, she taught a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and consistently received outstanding teaching evaluations from students.

Her research expertise focuses on sustainable careers, career competencies, employability, career success, and multiple job holding. She has led and co-authored 10 research projects, 6 of which were funded by prestigious grants in the Netherlands and Taiwan. Several of her articles have been published or are under review in top-tier Q1 international journals such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Current Psychology.

As a careers researcher, she consistently emphasizes the importance of employability in her teaching, ensuring that students develop the necessary skills to effectively meet the increasingly changing demands of the labor market. She prioritizes the use of active, technology-enhanced teaching methods, such as project-based learning, real-life simulations, flipped classrooms, group discussions, and inviting guest speakers from industry to bridge theory with practice and enhance students’ learning experience.

Drawing on her industry experience in the dynamic e-commerce sector and her international academic background, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Y is committed to creating a high-quality, student-centered learning environment that encourages active engagement. Her goal is to help students develop holistically in both knowledge and professional skills, empowering them to succeed in their careers.
