With 11 years working in education, Nguyen Viet Hai is an expert in national science curriculum research. He develops STEAM education programs, trains STEAM teachers, and designs and advises on the construction of several maker spaces.
Currently, Hai's research focuses on artificial intelligence in STEAM education, science communication, critical thinking, and organizational information - knowledge management..
Non-academia-wise, Viet Hai is actively working in science communication. He is a national judge for the Science Film Festival 2025 in Vietnam and participates in major global science communication forums such as the Falling Walls (Germany) and the Science Journalism Forum (UAE).
Believing that science can help people understand themselves and surrounding worlds, "science writer" Viet Hai introduces readers to new ways of seeing the world through science. His articles, which are multi-faceted, accurate, and engaging, appear in some popular science magazines in Vietnam. Mr. Viet Hai also hosts the podcast "Before the Apple Falls," where he converses with Vietnamese scientists worldwide.
