Abstract:The authors of this chapter describe the remaining chapters in this book, an expanded collection of examples of integrating multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) with machine learning. The authors of the remaining chapters discuss case study applications ranging from electric vehicle infrastructure development to sustainable development and assessment in education, describing how the decision-making process is optimized using machine learning. Furthermore, each example describes a unique challenge that a specific field faces and includes a solution to adapt to modern engineering demands. The different authors provide a comprehensive overview of MCDM and machine learning synergy, presenting readers in various fields with practical implementation of the concepts.
